1. How much is the registration fee?

   Summer soccer the fee for summer 2012 is.

   Winter soccer the fee for MWSL women, Richmond Senior men, and VMSL TBD.

2. What is included with registration?

   Besides FUN.....players will compete in tournament and/or league play.

   All players will recieve a uniform and/or t-shirt.

3. How long does the summer season last?

   The season for U7 to Open teams starts early April and ends mid August.

   U5 / 6 program runs mid May thru July, every Monday at Ross Park.

4. Maximum amount of players kept on roster?

   U12 to Open minimum 13, maximum 16, and for all other age groups minimum 10, maximum 12

5. How many tournaments do the teams participate in?

   Summer teams (U13 to open) participate in 4 to 8 tournaments held throughout the lower mainland and fraser valley area.

   U7 to U12 participate in league, however they do participate in the AUSC tournament held in August.

6. What equipment is needed?

   Players must have cleats, shin pads and watter bottle.  Players must also supply their own shorts and socks.

7. How many practices per week and where are they held?

   Generally teams practice 1 to 2 times a week, it is left to the decretion of the coach of each individual teams.

   Practices are held on grass / turf fields located in the South Vancouver area.

8. What is the USSL?

   A league based out of Surrey, BC formed by the various summer clubs.

   Games are played in Surrey, however we will be asking to have games played in Vancouver / Richmond to reduce travelling for our members.

   Another option we are looking into is forming a league in Vancouver, we will weigh in the pro and cons of forming a league in Vancouver.

9. Other clubs in Vancouver claim to be affiliated with Dasmesh United FC, are they?

   No, we are not affiliated with any Vancouver based summer club or soccer school.

   Any soccer school we do hire, there will be no conflict (no school will be hired were a director is directly or indirectly involved with a soccer school).

10. How can I help?

    We need coaches, team managers, sponsors, etc.

11. I have no soccer experience, can I still coach?

    Yes, we will assist you in any way we can, including conducting practice sessions for your team.

    Coaches / managers must complete a risk management form through VPD before they will be accepted as volunteers.

12. How can we see the financials for the club?

    Members of Dasmesh FC United Society can view the financials at monthly board meetings or at the club's AGM.
